Splatoon 3 Undertow Spillway stage temporarily closed

Nintendo has reworked a number of stages in Splatoon 3, and it looks like Undertow Spillway is next on the docket. The level just went offline tonight.

On social media, the Splatoon series account said the downtime is for “inspections and expansion work.” It added: “For safety reasons, access will be closed during this period so we appreciate your patience.”

Telebbit

Publisher Hyper Real and Ikingames are teaming up to bring Telebbit to Switch, it’s been announced. Currently the title is on track for a 2024 debut.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land Present Codes

Kirby and the Forgotten Land just made it to Switch, and players can take advantage of several Present Codes. When registered in-game at Waddle Dee-liveries, they provide a variety of different items.

Pokemon GO 2024 changes

Pokemon GO kicked off its “Rediscover GO” campaign today which is focused on changes and improvements planned for the mobile game. Over the next month, fans can rediscover the adventure “with fresh, stylish means to express themselves, enhanced visual effects, and a GO Snapshot upgrade.”

Born of Bread update 1.6

A new version 1.6 update is here for Born of Bread.

Highlights include quick buddy swap, Hard Mode, treasure trackers on upgraded maps, and quality of life improvements. Many bug fixes are also implemented – such as a saving issue on Switch.

One Piece Odyssey

Bandai Namco is bringing One Piece Odyssey to Switch, the company just announced. It’s set to launch on July 26, 2024.

One Piece Odyssey is a turn-based RPG that first came out last year. Ilca, perhaps best known for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, worked on the game. 

Surmount

March 15: Surmount is on the way to Switch, developers Indiana-Jonas and Jasper Oprel announced today. The game launches on May 9, 2024.

Surmount is a physics-based platforming adventure and mountain climbing adventure title. Further details can be found in the following overview:

Nintendo Gamescom 2024

Nintendo will not be attending Gamescom 2024. That’s according to Games Wirtschaft, who received an official statement from a representative involved with the event.

Nintendo used to be a staple of Gamescom, but that started to change following covid. Gamescom 2023 was the first time in four years that the company attended. Nintendo’s booth featured both its own games as well as offerings from third-parties, plus tournaments and more. Additionally, it was claimed that some developers were treated to behind-closed-doors showings of the Switch successor.
