Iwata comments on lack of regular Nintendo Direct at the end of December

January 8th, 2013 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Posted by Brian

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata briefly took over the company’s Japanese Twitter account earlier this morning. In a message to fans, Iwata commented on the lack of a regular Nintendo Direct at the end of December.

The explanation is simple. It all came down to the fact that Nintendo didn’t have time to prepare materials for a broadcast. The timing wasn’t there to make it happen as well.

Nintendo does like to stream broadcasts regularly, so I’m sure it won’t be long before another presentation pops up.

Remember when Nintendo was so secretive? I mean they still keep a lot stuff behind closed doors until events like E3 and all, but they have been giving us more than usual ever since they started doing these Nintendo directs. I feel spoiled.
