Wii U Gamepad now compatible with PCs, even if a little clunky

February 5th, 2013 Posted in News, Posted by Austin, Wii U

If you’ve been itching for a way to play your emulated games on PC with a proper controller, the Wii U Gamepad might just be your cup of tea, courtesy of Kotaku reader “Chris”. Chris says the software should work on most PCs and right now allows you to map all of the buttons on the Gamepad to wherever they need to be, and in the future he wants to allow you to stream your emulator games to the Wii U Gamepad, as well as enable touchscreen support. Here’s the video:

Heeey, that’s pretty darned nifty! I used to use my Wii remote as a pc controller though of course the limited buttons kind of made that impossible.
