Nintendo: MotionPlus never given a date, technically can’t be delayed
March 10th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiRumors have been circulating the past few days that Wii MotionPlus might be delayed all the way past June. IGN’s Matt Casamassina, in a recent Nintendo Voice Chat podcast, said that Nintendo has been struggling to work out “a few hiccups.” Nintendo has finally responded to the speculation. A representative claims that “technically it can’t be delayed” because “no date was ever announced for MotionPlus.” While this is partially true, Nintendo did state that the peripheral would be available in the Spring.

Matt Cass is testing my patience. So apparently they knew it wasn’t delayed and this notice is basically damage control for a slip of the tongue by IGN.

it was supposed to be released in the spring alongside wii sports resort but now who knows when it’s coming up. Basically nintendo is using a technicality. They never said when wii motion plus was coming out but they did have a date for wii sports resort and they did state that was to be included with the game. Corporate companies can be funny at times.
