Nintendo briefly speaks about E3 2009, reps imply it will be big
March 26th, 2009 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Posted by ValayMost gamers can probably agree upon the fact that E3 2008 was pretty much a big disappointment. Nintendo seems to have learned from their mistakes, however. In fact, Satoru Iwata said a few months back that this year’s E3 will be a place where Nintendo will show off new software. Nintendo of America’s vice president of corporate affairs, Denise Kaigler, briefly spoke about this year’s E3 in an interview. Though she did not say too much, there is an interesting tidbit to take away.
“I tend not to ever say that [no comment] because I was a reporter and I always hated it when people would say that to me, so I kind of wiped those two words out of my vocabulary. I will say to you, wait until E3…We don’t have anything to say about E3 before June 2.” – Nintendo of America’s vice president of corporate affairs, Denise Kaigler
As you can tell, Ms. Keigler didn’t exactly hype up this year’s event. But IGN’s Matt Casmassina was apparently told by Nintendo representatives at GDC to bring a bring a big team of editors – Something that seems to imply that this year’s E3 will be chock-full of Nintendo goodies.

I expect bombshells this yr after last yrs dissapointment, I want key Nintendo titles announced or showcased,
F-Zero,PilotWings,Kid Icarus,Zelda, Mario, Excite Bike,Ice Climbers,Mario Paint, some Nintendo sports games, and exclusive 3rd party games, Kingdom Hearts 3, a new Metal Gear, Street Fighter etc these are things that get people excited and talking. I realy don’t expect all this to happen but it would be nice !

All I can say it will it top off & be better than E32006 when the Wii was announced with ZeldaTP, Mario Galaxy, & SSBBrawl?!
Still I am always SMART & never expecting much; so its not likely you STUPID FAN BOYS will still be WHINNING about all of those first party franchies you miss from the old days & wish they were on the Wii already!!!!
I’d list them but, (stupid Captain N/aka Anthony) said it all already!!!!!!
And yes, I wish IGN’s Matt Cass-freaking hate his last name; would just drop off the face of the earth, die, or STOP GIVING us CRAP… even its his STUPID HALF BAKED LOW SCORE REVIEWS!!!!!!!! Yes I’m pointing fingers at Wii Music & Sonic&TBlackKnight!!!!!!!!!!!

@ Captain N: Why the hell would Kingdom Hearts 3 be on the wii? Also about E3, i’m not looking forward to it because everytime the say something big is coming it usually isn’t. Maybe just a bunch of kiddy games, and some games to use with the motion plus, but that’s it. This year’s nintendo E3 is going to suck like last year’s. But i do think they will announce the new mario and zelda games since it’s been a while since either.
