The Conduit trailer
- Most fans seemed pretty happy with it – a lot of interest
- Art direction should be spruced up
- Craig thinks it’ll sell 5 copies unless Nintendo picks it up

- Looked at Metroid, Medal of Honor

Platinum Games – MadWorld
- Someone leaked the initial video, but demo was shown at the event
- Some violence very over the top – somewhat comical, still disturbing

- Deep DS game – 100 hours to do everything
- 2D art for character interaction, 3D for space action

- Can’t talk about Ubisoft games – later in the podcast, the IGN team hints that the games shown aren’t too impressive – only some of the games had potential

Sonic Unleashed
- Graphics better than most recent Sonic games – Wii version won’t look as good as other versions
- Runs at sporadic frame rate
- Looks fun, controls well
- New moves – quick sidestep
- Don’t crash, hit things like Secret Rings
- Dimps apparently adding level support (night levels), Sonic Team developing game as a whole

- 800 points
- Warning that Star Soldier R is a time-based game

Critter Round-Up
- Simple, charming game – not challenging
- Animals are cute
- 1000 points – not really worth it

Reader questions

- Capcom’s Gamers Day is happening next week
- Games that should get the lego treatment: Matt – Fightclub, Bozon: Mutant Turtles
- Zack and Wiki on WiiWare isn’t probable
- MadWorld more than a stylized manhunt – credit should be given to MadWorld devs – will be funny (but sick) – bold game
- No news on Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Wii
- Face Training came out in Japan, wasn’t a huge seller – can’t turn camera around – no other games are using the camera
