Rumor: Big Pokemon game news incoming
May 2nd, 2009 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Posted by ValayPokemon fans may need to brace themselves, as the latest speculation suggests that news on a big Pokemon game looks to be on the way. Pokemon Sunday is rumored to be making an announcement on May 10th. Fans are predicting that remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver are in development since gold/silver party balls could be seen in a preview, though nothing is confirmed at this point. Meanwhile, both Coro Coro and Nintendo Dream plan on revealing a new title in their next issues. All of this put together most likely means that some huge Pokemon news will be shared in a few days.

I would love a full scale console version of pokemon. No more Pokemon Coliseum stuff. I want a real, honest version of pokemon for the Wii. Think of how much more they could put into it! It would have great potential.

It will never happen, the pokemon guys already stated that the pokemon experience is best enjoyed on the handhelds whenever and where ever. But like you i am also hoping for a console release.

If it’s G/S versions I hope more for DSi Virtual Console than Remakes but, likely it will be remade in the likeness of D/P as LG/FR were in the likeness of R/S. I agree with the post before mine, A new Pokemon Snap for Wii would be nice and if it had some uses with DSi Cam and Pokemon Wii version would be cool too but, for that I think keep it in D/P graphics in Adventure and Battle in 3-D graphics that way they can do more with the game and maybe Some DLC like in Animal Crossing than Pete gives you Letters from Nintendo

@ TriChronos – I’d like that as well (and I’m sure other fans would too). Not too sure it has a big chance of happening though, seeing as what W3D said. But we can hope!
