The Game Boy Advance lives

May 19th, 2009 Posted in DS, GBA, News, Posted by Valay

The DS has been in the spotlight for the past few years, leaving the Game Boy line to take a backseat while Nintendo’s new portable soaks up the limelight. But no – The Game Boy Advance is not dead. A Nintendo representative told Kotaku that the GBA is still seeing shipments across the world. In fact, 420,000 units were sold in the last fiscal year.

As soon as I bought a DSI and sold my DS I bought a GBA Micro. I am sure others made similar purchases.

I probably would have purchased a Micro if I didn’t keep my original DS. Can’t miss out on playing Game Boy games. :P

yeah.. Nintendo should again look back at the Gameboy Advance and revive the handheld alongside the DS..

In fact, making new GBA games will be awesome. =D

There’s a serious reason why I won’t ever let go of my DS Lite! ;)
And I only want the DSi because of the new camera & music functions, (could care much less about DSiWare); but the serious real reason why I want a DSi is so I can have 2 DS’s… to be able to play multiplayer DS games!! ;)
I’d never let go of my DS Lite because of the GBA slot; but I also got my GameBoy Player in my GameCube which I also will never let go!! I like playing my Pokemon, Zelda, & Aladdin GBA games as much as my other games as well… & I’d never get rid of those gems!! ;)
