Accessible Lord of the Rings title in development for Wii

Players assume the role of Strider and embark on his greatest quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The game offers authentic, action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery that all ages can play together.”
This little blurb was found on a list send out by the ESA. Warner Bros. Interactive. will be publishing the project and more information is expected when E3 kicks off next month.

Hmm. Obviously I’d like a more action-oriented title, but I think we should at least give this game a chance until more information is revealed.

I’ll wait and see, but I’m not thrilled at the idea of taking a very adult story and “kidifying it”. What’s next? COD:WAW Saturday morning cartoon?
