Itagaki comments on Metroid: Other M

June 14th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii

Nintendo made a huge announcement this past week that Team Ninja is working on Metroid: Other M. However, the company is not entirely the same as it was a few years ago. Tomonobu Itagaki, creator of both Dead or Alive and 3D Ninja Gaiden titles, left the company last year. So without a doubt, Team Ninja is missing an integral key to their success. How does Itagaki feel about Other M, though? His thoughts are below.

“Metroid is a fantastic game that I played a lot on the Disk System when I was a child. I also know Mr. Sakamoto, the producer at Nintendo, very well. He fathered Samus Aran. He’s been making games since I was a child, so he’s a veteran I really respect. I think [Yosuke] Hayashi will learn a lot working with him. I hope Team Ninja works hard in making a good game.”

    LOL!

This guy always make me laugh with his insults!

” I think [Yosuke] Hayashi will learn a lot working with him. I hope Team Ninja works hard in making a good game.””

That was directed to Hayashi, trying to say he doesn’t know anything.

And the part he said, make a good game. Means Team NINJA is nothing without him:P

Seems like Itagaki is a good boy now. Especially since he’s currently nobody’s b****. But just wait until he reveals his next game (which will probably be awesome), he’ll go back to his cocky bastard ways!
