Nintendo announces Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver release date and price

June 26th, 2009 Posted in DS, News, Posted by Valay

Today, Nintendo has confirmed both the release date and price of the classic Pokemon remakes. Heart Gold and Soul Silver will launch in Japan on September 12. It was previously thought that the two titles would be available on that same day, so the speculation was right on the money. You can pick up either version for 4800 yen. There is no announcement as of yet for a North American release, but you can bet that Nintendo will be making an announcement eventually.

Somehow now I think that a NA release will take 4-6 months to translate; they always usually do! So maybe they’ll release by March-April 2010! ;)

I didn’t really like Gold/Silver but I will be getting one of them. I just hope they re-re do a version of the original generation for the DS as I would love to play that again. And again. And be able to get legit Pokémon from that gen (I use Pokésav at the minute)
