Wii firmware update now available in Japan
July 3rd, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiA new Wii system update is now up for download in Japan. Because this is more of a minor upgrade in some ways, Nintendo has simply named it firmware 4.1. Wii Sports Resort owners were experiencing some issues with the game after loading content from the Wii Shop Channel. Users booting up Wii Sports Resort would be forced to view an introductory video to Wii MotionPlus after playing a VC or WiiWare title. This was a pretty annoying bug of sorts, since the situation would occur every time and there was no way to disable the video from playing. However, the goal of the latest firmware installation should fix any problems.
