There are no additional characters in New Super Mario Bros. Wii

July 15th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii

When Nintendo demoed the premiere gameplay of New Super Mario Bros. Wii at E3, there were four different characters used. Mario, Luigi, and two toads were available. However, some will be disappointed in knowing that there will not be any additional characters when the game ships this holiday. Shigeru Miyamoto provided Nintendo Power with a simple “that’s it” response when asked if more characters were present. Although that is unfortunate, perhaps the Koopa Kids will make up for the news. According to Miyamoto, “they’re supposed to all be in there.”

Wow. Nintendo seems to be getting even more lazy. Now they are just putting out a game with a pathetic amount of characters. And yet, casual gamers still buy the same old small sized and simple games. Nintendo is making half-assed games that have no challenge or fun and still making money. Shows how sad the game industry has become.
