Iwata on the possibility of Wii Fit Plus and/or New Super Mario Bros. Wii being delayed…

“We have absolutely no worry that they [Wii Fit Plus, New Super Mario Bros. Wii] will not be released as scheduled…We’d like to work so that people say ‘This was the best Christmas in Nintendo history.’”

Iwata on the disappointing sales of Animal Crossing: City Folk and Wii Music…

“Last year, Wii Music and Animal Crossing City Folk did not reach our expectations. If we had made them into long sellers, the effects of the lack of software in the first half of the year would have been lowered. However, their sales slowed in a relatively short term.”

Iwata on a Wii price drop…

“At present, we’re not thinking of doing anything with the price.”

Wii Music and Animal crossing are Rubbish!

Best Christmas in Nintendos History-Never laughed so much!

And the Wii is TOO expensive compared to the Xbox 360.

Iwata GET MORE GOOD GAMES out there!

One might beg to differ. The Wii’s got more variety in its software library by a large margin and the only cheaper 360 SKU is essentially the stripped down version most potential 360 owners aren’t so keen on investing in, given the much narrower market they’re targeting to begin with.
