Call of Duty: Modern Warfare heading to the Wii in November

August 4th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii

Activision has revealed to Kotaku that Modern Warfare is in developing for Wii. Rather than bringing the latest game in the series – Modern Warfare 2 – to the platform, Activision has instead decided to port the game to Nintendo’s console, which was originally released in 2007. An official announcement is expected tomorrow, but Activision has already confirmed that the title will launch on November 10.

Considering that I wasn’t looking forward to Modern Warfare 2, and that CoD4 was my favorite FPS this gen, playing it with my favorite FPS control this gen should be a blast, so long as it’s not dumbed down too much.

I heard from activision that they’re including search and destroy, capture the flag. They’re also taking in mile high club! Activision said that they’re not leaving ANYTHING out. The graphics might be a little worse. But they’ve done all they can to get every texture on there.
