Rumor: Pokemon title Wii-bound
September 25th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiRumor has it that earlier this month, president of The Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, spoke with Famitsu and briefly discussed a new game for Wii. You can check out the snippet below:
“I can’t go into details about it, but we’re also working on a Wii game. It should be announced soon.”
I find it odd that this wasn’t mentioned elsewhere, especially since this issue hit newsstands a number of weeks ago. It’s possible that it was somehow missed, though. If I remember correctly, this should have been the edition when Famitsu was interviewing Ishihara about HeartGold/Soul Silver.
I’d be content if there was a new project for Wii. I just wonder whether it’d be a WiiWare title, a 3D battle experience, or something similar to the games on Nintendo’s handhelds.

I really hope it’s a real rpg like the hand-held games.
