I like the new music and graphics, but I don’t know why they went with Japanese voice actors this time around… The first game was in English (yes, even the Japanese release), so I was hoping for a little consistency, though I guess since this is a new generation it doesn’t really matter. Guess they couldn’t get the old voices back.

Also, I see that Kachi isn’t Achi, but I betcha they have some sort of connection. I mean, seriously, they have similar names and Kachi is distrusted by everyone else, it’s so obvious.

This sequel is without a doubt fantastic! Can’t wait. I think it would be great if Saki(and maybe Achi too) would be a unlockable playable in this game.

I also have a question I have been wondering about: Is the Sin & Punishment series really a Nintendo franchise(which would make the S&P characters Nintendo characters)developed by Treasure, a third-party company? How exactly does this work?
This is something that has confused me ever since Saki appeared in Brawl.

This is similar to how Rare developed for Nintendo’s Donkey Kong, or how Inti Creates developed for Capcom’s Mega Man. It is copyrighted by Nintendo, so they have the rights to the characters and stuff, but licensed to Treasure.

Brad is pretty much correct. It’s not really a Nintendo franchise, but more of a second-party series. Nintendo is the one who publishes the games, though.
