The only highpoint in the first-day sales list this week is Uncharted 2, which sold about 47,000 copies and 70% of its available stock. However, regardless of its critical praise, it will be front-ended like most PS3 and Xbox 360 titles. October 29 will be an interesting day for first-day sales due to several high-profile releases.

47,000 isn’t too bad for Japan i suppose – especially because it’s a western game.

Wow that pretty good for ps3 but realy bad for 360 only 2 games on the list and there far down i think microsoft is losing it in japan

Adam – if you think the Xbox 360 is losing it on the software side of things you should take a look at the hardware numbers. The Xbox 360 is BARELY matching the PS2 week – for – week, let alone the PS3/Wii.

360 is losing in japan hardware and software. Ps3 is dominating in Japan and is 1 million ahead of 360 in hardware sales in europe. But america is a different story… 360 is atleast 6 million ahead of ps3 in hardware and always domintes software charts for multi plats.But the gap in america is closing more and more now that ps3 is 299$. they knocked the lead down 1 million in one month after the price drop.
