    Strong first-day sales numbers for Rune Factory 3 and Forza Motorsport 3 (a competitor of Gran Turismo 5 I am told), even though I wonder why the “First Print Limited Edition” sold more copies than the regular edition.

    LOL, Forza 3 competing with Gran Turismo 5??? Gimme a break. First day sales for Forza 3 were not bad considering the 360′s tiny install base in Japan but there isn’t a single Gran Turismo game out of the 4 released so far that has sold less than 10 million units worldwide. Forza 3 will be lucky if worldwide sales top 4 million.

    Forza will outsell GT. Think about it, more consoles = more software sales. Last i checked, ps$ is ranked third.

    @HEE….HA!!! Are you kidding me??? Forza will never sell more than GT5 in Japan! The 360 may have more units sold in America but they are millions behind ps3 in Japan and atleast 1 million units behind ps3 in europe… Its global sales that will win this generation and with ps3 price drop it the lead in America will slowly close. GT5 is loved by the Japanese and america and europe.. GT5 will sell atleast 1 million more than Forza worldwide… Keep in mind just like the consoles Forza will have a 5 month lead in sales on GT5 like the year lead 360 had on ps3.

    hlee 360 is 3rd place in japan.a also forza is a poor mans gran turismo and will never sell and be as big as GT. gt prologue[a demo] outsold forza 2. Do you ven know the power of GT,it is playstations number one game,it always sells over 10 million.
