Media Create hardware sales totals for October

Now that the latest Media Create hardware sales data has been reported, the complete totals for October have been calculated.  Here’s how things played out this month (9/28 – 10/25):

DSi – 194,781
PSP – 157,688
PS3 – 128,642
Wii – 122,096
DS Lite – 25,205
Xbox 360 – 15,702
PS2 – 8,372

For comparison’s sake, these were the results last month:

PS3 – 298,142
DSi – 256,332
PSP – 78,966
Wii – 67,554
DS Lite – 48,100
Xbox 360 – 24,214
PS2 – 10,683

    Seems that Nintendo has nothing to worry about. PS3 sales down almost 60% from last month when at the same time Wii sales double. over 80000 drop in DS sales though. Still Nintendo took this month from Sony.

    PS3 – 128, 642

    I’m no Math’s expert or anything but i THINK the PS3 sold more…….so how did Nintendo take this month?

    Anyway, Nintendo have PLENTY to worry about come the end of the year when the PS3 gets Final Fantasy XIII and all they have is Mario & Sonic At The Winter Olympics.

    I meant Nintendo in total. Off course I know PS3 sells more than Wii (at least for now).

    Sorry, forgot something from the other post. Nintendo has NSMB Wii coming. Don’t forget it because it’s going to sell like nuts.

    the gimmick is over, how can you imagine wii can compete with a console 1000 0000 time better, and don’t even talk about games, it hurts for nintendo fans.

    Yes Nintendo sold the most hardware in total for the month but is that really a surprise? The DS outsells the PSP EVERY month.

    Also, i highly doubt NSMBW will be able to hold a candle to Final Fantasy XIII.
