What Mario game is Geoff Keighley teasing?
November 16th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiGeoff Keighley is teasing some sort of Mario-related game for the holidays. Check out this mysterious message left on his Twitter account…
“Someone introduces himself as ‘It’s-a-me, Mario!’ in a big holiday game, and it’s not New Super Mario Bros Wii.”
Well, this is pretty odd! I honestly have no idea what Keighley is talking about, unless it’s that Mario arcade game. Charles Martinet said a few weeks back that he was recording voice work for a Mario game that isn’t New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Galaxy 2, but is Nintendo really preparing another title for the holidays? And if this was something obvious, wouldn’t Keighley have elaborated? Perhaps it’s a WiiWare title? I hope we find out soon!

Paper Mario 4,next Mario Strikers/Football game or Mario Party 9 are still a few of what I guess but a another full-fledged plattformer game is always welcome for me.

A WiiWare, or DSiWare remake of Super Mario All Stars.
Charles Martinet would have added in some new voicework to such a remake.

Gavin:I could see WiiWare possible but isn’t it too little space for a DSiWare remake of SM All Stars? Just asking.
And if it were SM All Stars wouldn’t Charles and Keighley refer it as “compilation” or “games”?
Assuming they don’t try to mislead us or something…

Well maybe it’d be on a DS cart, or one of those new DSi only carts.
It could potentially fit as a DSiWare game, but it’d probably be a few hundred blocks.

It’s not a Mario game. It’s Assassins Creed 2. I know this sounds weird, but Ezios uncle Mario introduces himself with “Don’t you recognize me, It’s-a me, Mario!”.
It’s not a joke, and it’s hella funny when you see it in game.
