If WiiWare demos become a success, I can see Nintendo expanding them to demos of retail Wii games. I recently downloaded a demo of the WiiWare game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as Darklord, and after playing it for over an half hour, I was not impressed because of the pacing.
