Nintendo Channel Wii FPS data
December 17th, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiThe first column shows data from the Nintendo Channel, the second column has the rankings of the games from Amazon, and the third column is the title’s Metacritic average. By the way, the Metroid Prime games technically aren’t in the FPS genre, but they do contain FPS elements!

How are the Metroid Prime games not FPS’s?
By Valay on Dec 17, 2009
@ Hejiru – A lot of people consider them to be more like first-person adventures.

@Hejiru:
What Valay said is correct, a lot of the reviewers consider the “Prime” games as first-person adventures, with shooting elements.
It’s interesting, if you check Amazon.com, they have House of the Dead: Overkill and Metroid Prime: Trilogy listed in the “Adventure” category, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare [Reflex] in the “Action” category, and The Conduit in the “Shooter” category.
