Inafune interested in doing “something completely different with Mega Man”
December 21st, 2009 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Posted by ValayLast week, Capcom hosted a celebration for Mega Man’s 22nd birthday. After playing a little bit of next year’s Mega Man 10, Keiji Inafune answered a few questions from fans. One such question was whether another game in the Mega Man X series will be created. Inafune expressed some interest, but perhaps more interestingly, he stated that first he would like “to do something completely different with Mega Man.”
“I love the series and I’d love to make a game like that, but you have no idea how busy I am. I’m glad the fans love the X series, but I think before I make a return to that series I want to do something completely different with Mega Man.”
