Monster Hunter 3 overseas release delayed

December 22nd, 2009 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii

Capcom released their forecast revisions for year ending March 31, 2010 today and the company had some unfortunate news to share with fans. Monster Hunter 3 (overseas release), in addition to Lost Planet 2 and Super Street Fighter 4 have been delayed to the next fiscal year. This means that these titles are now expected to ship anytime from April 1st 2010 to March 31st 2011. In their revisions, Capcom highlighted reasons for the delays:

・Avoid competing with the major titles that other companies plan to introduce
in the 4th quarter
・Preserve the value of Capcom’s titles and maximize sales volume
・Expand the lineup of titles in the next fiscal year and afterward

omg…..why not just release it b4 all the other titles come out? Geez, i was looking forward to getting this, was going to pre-order MH3 right after Christmas, but doesn’t look like i will until i have an official release date. C’mon capcom do not make us wait…we have waited years for another online MH3 title. it will do fine.

I was content when I first saw Capcom deleys. I didn’t have to think about squeezing any of their games into my expensive gaming scedule. But I totaly forgot about Monster Hunter Tri. Now I’m sad.

Daaaaamn. Oh well. As long as the delay helps the game’s quality and isn’t being held back finished because they don’t want to compete with the other guys.
