Any way. PS3 on the way to the top? Of What last place consoles? Just look at these numbers as proof. Wii still beat it in sales over the past two weeks with THE biggest PS3 game ever.

Only a fanboy or idiot could look at those numbers and think it means PS3 is going to dominate. I care not for fanboy excuse for why Wii sales do not matter. Fact is it’s a console and its destroying the PS3 in every way that matters.

The PS3 has sold well over 27 million consoles.

Heres why.

Up to September 30, 2009 the PS3 had sold 27 million consoles. If you add the ( Oct / Nov / Dec ) months in this figure the PS3 has sold now over 32 million consoles. Also remember that although they say the 30 sept-09 it is still a month behind sales. So they haven’t even added the slim model sales in this, as they slim model sales would have come in the end on October.

Charles exemplifies perfectly the typical 360 owner/fanboy. Mildly retarded, delusional and ignorant as to how the gaming industry works. FF XIII came out THIS WEEK (Look at the date given for the figures) you braindamaged moron. This is the FIRST week of release and no, Wii didn’t outsell PS3, are you really this stupid? 191,000 is not more than 237,000. What a turd. As for the 360, a pathetic 8,000 is over – gloryfying that pile of garbage. A console with a 99% failure rate and no exclusive games deserves those Dreamcast – esque sales figures.

Also, the reason the PS2 won last generation is because the Xbox and Gamecube were very poor as far as AAA exclusives go, much like this gen.

Still, those Wii figures are darn impressive considering it had no major releases this week. I wonder how much of a lasting impact FF XIII will have on PS3 hardware.

The consoles work out like this XBOX 360 is for pure gamers, PS3 is for blue ray and the second choice for gamers the wii well its a nice distraction every once in awhile. I own all 3 so I am not a fan boy for any system.

It seems that Media Create has undercounted last week’s Wii numbers as Famitsu reported (from a leak) that it sold 208K last week, a difference of 10%.

Killzone2 better than Halo ODST, GT5 way better than Forza etc. You’re just another delusional 360 fanboy.

In global sales the PS3 is beating the 360. Also, Orakga is right PS3 had it’s best year in 2009 and won many GOTY rewards. 2010 is looking just as strong.

You said ( Bayoneta is just the latest example. ) What about Dragon Age Origins, thats better graphics on the PS3 than 360. Now what that shows is one thing. It’s not the PS3′s fault that some games are not potted good, or as good as the other consoles port, it is the Devs that haven’t done a good job to start with.

What about if we look at Final Fantasy XIII, and the FACT that the 360 is MISSING 15GB of data.? That shows that the 360 has a problem, and that problem is disc space shortage. YES xbox 360 would have needed 5 discs if no compressions were done. But due to the 360 using OLD tech dvd drives, the better games can be made on PS3, with no need for compressing.

At the end of the day, the PS3 is the better made console, it holds better made games, with more AAA Titles than other consoles on the market today, it has blu-ray, so no space limitations, and is free to use.

360 will be coming back harder in 2009 (Mass Effect, Alan Wake, etc) but we’ll have to wait and see…

LOL GT5 better than Forza 3. Play the full game before you say that. I would surely hope GT5 is better Xbox 360 fans have had 2 forza game to enjoy while Ps3 still does not have a Gt game. Uncharted 2 was a great game a little short but what game is not these days. The exclusives for the PS3 had zero interest for me if you played one FPS you played them all. The main draw for me and FPSs are the community and the PSN is just not even in the same league in that respect to Live. Now people are saying XBOX has the exclusives this year and I will argue that the PS3 has the one I want to play the most is GOW3. With the majority of time this generation already done to me a first adopter to new gen hardware the xbox has won this time.

OK,here goes.

SONY and the PS3 holds better AAA game titles than what xbox 360 does. Also PS3 has more Exclusive games coming out in 2010 for the PS3 console than what xbox 360 has in 2010. With even more AAA title yet again coming to PS3.

Now we look at sales ( yet again ) PS3 sells MORE than one million consoles for the week ending 13th to 19th Dec 09.

How many did the xbox 360 sell?. ???

How many did the slim sell in a week of being released ?.

I can tell you that was over a million consoles as well.

360 fanboys need to look past the BS feed to them and see the facts. The PS3 console HAS been OUTSELLING Xbox 360 in the same time span since being release. What does that tell people.? Als the PS3 is up from last years sales, where Xbox 360 is down from there sales last year. so PS3 = + sales, where 360 = – sales.

You can also GAME SHARE DLC stuff bought from PSN with 5 active PS3 / PSP consoles.

Example.

Lets say 5 of my friends can have my game i bought from PSN to save themselves money. Now i can share their games which they bought from PSN to save myself money.

You cannot do this on XBL ?

With games like these exclusives coming out who wouldn’t want a PS3.

Based on the comparisons of GT prologue and forza; I always considered GTP to be at least equal to forza and that was released two years ago. It’s not an unreasonable assumption (as much as I hate to assume) that GT5 > than GTP; therefore GT5 > forza.

So you call the winner part way through the race? If you go to the horse racing and bet on it; you can’t go to the bookies and say my horse was leading at the half way mark so pay me now before the race finishes – this is what you are doing by calling the 360 the winner already. PS4 and xbox720? haven’t even been announced yet so there is still a long way to run in this race.
PS3 is clearly selling faster than the 360 for the equivilent life of the console worldwide and is most likely going to enjoy a longer life than the 360 so it will also most likely finish in second spot behind the Wii.

Anyone who thinks the 360 has good exclusives is a delusional fanboy. PS3 exclusives win GOTY while 360 exclusives end up with a Metacritic score of 84 or something pathetic like that. No contest. PS3 is for real gamers Xbox 360 is for people who don’t like good games. Also, Xbox LIVE is a rip – off, PSN is a million times better, who would be stupid enough to pay twice for their internet connection anyway?

Again 360 owners have already enjoyed 2 forza titles while Sony has not produced 1 full gt game. I am saying the 75 to 80 percent of this generation is over the new systems will be coming out in 2012. For me and most hard core gamers when the new generation comes out the old gen is history. LOL at those exclusives they included arcade titles. First party games are nice here and there but as most ps3 owners complain the multplatform is still in 360 favor no matter the reason. PS3 fanboys owners like excuses its 360s fault the ports are bad and can claim the license tactics sony has makes their sales look bad. Whatever personally I could care less which which system is better for me my collection tells me which system I play more 30 ps3 games and 180 360 games and 24 or so Wii games.

Also I feel bad for anyone who has a newer PS3 the originals were so much better with full Backwards compatibilty. PS3 Slim is a nice tactic to increase sales but I would prefer a used fully BC system.

Tbh Xbox 360 has mediocre exclusives in comparison to PS3, just because a game sold more doesn’t mean its better, for instance more Porshe’s have sold than Toyota’s but i know which i’d rather drive. MS spent all their advertising money on two franchises being Halo and Gears of War, at the end of the day huge amounts of money was spent to make you think those games are ‘bigger than jesus’ when essentially they are average shooter games at best.

Ps3 has better and more exclusive titles as proven by review scores and better hardware and the online is almost on par with xbox live (minus cross game chat which is on its way) so tbh pure fact proves that ps3 wins hands down, i am going by factual evidence not opinions and fanboyism, i have a 360 myself and a ps3 and i had a 360 first but playing both i know which is better here.

As i have said time and time again. The 360 is not selling very well. It is NOT selling as good as it did last year. FACT.

The PS3 is OUTSELLING the 360, and the PS3 is selling more this year than what it did last year. FACT.

Now what does this show ? That more people are buying the PS3. A Simple Fact.

From the 13th Dec to the 19th Dec 09 the PS3 has sold over a million consoles. PS3 has sold MORE consoles in them ” 6 DAYS ” than what the 360 has done in about a Month. FACT.

The MW2 game on the 360 may be outselling the PS3 version, but what does that matter. PS3 owners have more games to choose from this year than what the 360 has, ( Final Fantasy XIII.) for a start.

Also take a look at what VERSION of MW2 is better. It’s the PS3 thats better not just by graphics, but also gameplay. The PS3 online side is not BUGGED like the 360 version. ( nothing that stops fun while playing it ) And lets face FACTS, the PS3 got all the patches ( that worked ) well before the 360, and even when the 360 got the patches, they didn’t work like they were meant to have done, and made matters worse online. LMAO!!! ( Private matches anyone ) ( MW2 is being looked upon by the xbox community as bad as Gears Of War 2, which is better know as Lag Of War 2 ).

Now where people say ( well the 360 has got some really good games coming too ) where are these games.? What xbox 360 exclusive games are there coming in 2010.?

PS3 owners might want to chill with your “Exclusives” because truth is both system have their good share of exclusives. MS might have less but it doesn’t mean anything unless your buying all of them. MS players, you need to give Sony props for finally picking up their pants after 3 years and getting their shit together.

I reserve the right to point out that Last Gen Sony had over 100mil units sold and Sony was hoping that much of those consumers would of migrated to the PS3. Would the PS3 sold so much if it didn’t have a Bluray player? Would MS be revelant if they didn’t have one year head start. You know what? Nintendo has shown with the right marketing you can do almost anything.

I know FFXIII did well as it was supposed to but compared to other FF that is just lower sales but great sale regardless for a system that doesn’t have the strength of DQ. Now when DQX is released for the Wii in Japan you can be sure the user base will have over 10Mil units already so SE did play their cards right. Now why didn’t they release FFXIII on X360 in Japan for those 1Mil+ owners is beyond me, even if 50% of them bought the game that’s still 500K units.
