Just imagined if games actually sold that much more… Especially something like Punch-Out or House Of The Dead.

Now im all about pirating something that is a rip off to begin with but when something is worth its value i like to support them by buying there product……ill pirate a shitty game but Mario really???

No shit. They should post these numbers alongside the NPD numbers every month to show publishers and fans how many they would have sold if those people bought it. Its crazy to see how many people download games though!!!

Wow..that is ridiculous.
Is it really that difficult to just buy the game to support it’s developers? Sure it isn’t impacting sales heavily, but even still, it’s taking away from potential profit. Horrible…

“Sure it isn’t impacting sales heavily”
For Mario that’s true… for House Of The Dead, however? That one didn’t even sell half a million – meaning it got more downloads than buys.

and this comfirms what I’ve been saying on sites like Joystiq and Gonintendo. what have i been saying? that these game’s aren’t selling like they should because people are pirating them. *sigh* and then all we hear is “anyone who ones is Wii is a casual gamer not a hardcore gamer”.

Point is if the games wern´t pirated Nintendo wouldn´t sink the prices anyway -Its only extra profit.(Hell Ninty made over the last 3 yrs about 3 BILLION $ PROFIT!)
hell NSMB has sold tons already….
