Capcom: Dead Rising Wii sales are decent, “demake-esque” title on the way
January 6th, 2010 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Posted by Valay, Wii“I’m preaching to the choir on this one, but Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop definitely got a bad rap. If you stop counting the number of zombies on the screen and just play, you’ll have some fun. People couldn’t help comparing it to the X360 game, which I can understand, but it did okay at retail, so I’d put this in a grey area.” – Seth Killian, Capcom’s Senior Manager of Community
“… (I’m) happy to say there’s something else distinctly demake-esque coming soon. Of course, there’s also Mega Man 10, which isn’t so much a demake as a straight up high-five to the joys of classic gaming…” – Seth Killian, Capcom’s Senior Manager of Community
Mr. Killian had a few other things to say as well. Capcom will be busy with retro revivals, remakes, new IPs, and possibly new hardcore Wii titles this year. Additionally, the company is working on a surprising motion control project that Killian believes “nobody will see coming,” although it may not be Nintendo related.

I only played the Wii version and I found it to be very enjoyable. Perhaps my perception wouldn’t be as positive if I’ve seen the XBox version, as the zombies didn’t looked right in the Wii.

The only demake I want to see is SFIV
Also: Demake = port of a game to a less-capable machine.

sfiv would be good. what other options are there for demakes?
By Zidane on Jan 7, 2010
I got it! The demake has to be Resident Evil 5! Not too long ago Capcom explained that Resident Evil 5 was certainly possible on the Wii system! That has to be it! =D
