While the sales of New Super Mario Bros. Wii are down 47% from last week, it still has the “legs” to sell at least a million more be and stay in the software chart for months to come. It would be a matter of weeks before it reaches the three million sales mark, and it would be interesting on where it end finally end up for a game that sold extremely well worldwide. As it has been for the last several weeks, Nintendo domination of the software chart.

Patrick – Square Enix is the publisher for Call Of Duty in Japan.
Very impressive numbers for Final Fantasy XIII, it has now sold to nearly half of all PS3 owners in Japan, which is one of the highest (If not the highest) attach rates this generation.
Also good to see the generations biggest RPG’s, Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver, pass the 3.5 million mark. Once those games release outside of Japan worldwide sales figures will fly past the 10 million mark easy.
Finally, for a game that holds such a large fanbase “The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks” is selling incredibly poorly.

japan never buys zelda games

@ David
Well I read somewhere that zelda usually doesn’t sell really well in japan….that could explain why it was released there two weeks after the rest of the world…which is unusual..
