The Grinder no longer Wii exclusive, will release Halloween 2011

February 4th, 2010 Posted in News, Posted by Austin, Wii

Here’s something I know you’ll all be very passionate about hearing. In a recent interview with IGN, head honchos of High Voltage Software Kerry Ganofsky and Eric Nofsinger revealed that the Grinder will not be a Wii exclusive, and will also ship on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Not only that, but the game isn’t planned to come out until Halloween of 2011. I’m not too worried about this, because HVS has shown that they don’t cut corners on Wii (granted that The Conduit could’ve turned out better), and hopefully this will only give them the higher sales that they deserve! Does this anger you, or do you think it’s a good move on HVS’ part?

Honestly, no one is going to buy the grinder on xbox 360 and PS3 when they could just get left 4 dead 2

Pretty much agree with umb this won’t do well on the other consoles cause they have way better first-person shooters ecspecially Left 4 Dead.

This is annoying, but at the same time we have alot of potential AAA titles headed exclusively to Wii this year and really the Wii version should still be the best given that the other consoles won’t be able to match the level of precise control.

I say don’t even release this piece of crap on Wii! release it on HD consoles, where it will bomb, and it will bomb hard! lol

No exclusive no buy, they probably will use the ps3 motion control by then, so if is any good I will get it on PS3.

HVS it’s disappointing lately, well they weren’t that great to start of.

Well, if it doesn’t come out until late 2011, chances are everyone will be sick of Left 4 Dead by then anyway. I think it’s a smart decision on High Voltage’s part to release it on other consoles as well, because we know from experience that Mature rated games don’t sell on the Wii.

Bad move…. I must say this news disappoints me, The one reason I liked this game was becasue it was a Wii exclusive to give Wii owners an experience the other consoles had.. no thats its coming on other consoles whats the point. I might as well buy another game and play it on PC later on when its dirt cheap !!!

Now Wii owners have to wait another year so that the HD versions can be made, this is not cool at all.
