New Pokemon completely revealed

February 10th, 2010 Posted in DS, News, Posted by Brian

Update 2: We now have some details about the Pokemon, courtesy of Serebii (thanks Chris J!). The details have been added below.

Update: The scans have been confirmed and we’ve added additional images to this post (thanks Arty!)

Remember that Pokemon silhouette we showed you a few days ago? Well, apparently it has been completely revealed. The images below are said to have come from CoroCoro. However, while they do look pretty real, I’m just a little bit skeptical since the pictures were actually posted on 2ch first. We’ll keep you posted about the legitimacy of the scans.

As you can probably tell, the image on the left is the Pokemon teased on Pokemon Sunday while the image on the right is supposed to be the Pokemon before evolving.

- Pre-evolution form called Zorua/Zoroa, dark-type Pokemon, Evil Fox Pokemon, .7 m tall, 12.5 kg
- Evolution form is Zoroark/Zoroaaku, dark-type Pokemon, Monster Fox Pokemon, 1.6m tall, 81.1kg
- More info from CoroCoro coming next month, will reveal Zorua/Zoroark’s abilities
- 13th movie called Phantom Champion Zoroark

    OMGEEEEEEE
SEEING THIS FREAKS ME OUT!!! I guess the company is not going to let me down again like they did with D/P/PLT. That gen was a complete failure, yes there was some pokemon I was impress with for example Shinx and Leafeon (even though Leafeon moves could of been better), but overall that gen was not in anyway unique, instead they were cheesy, and seem like they were just pieces of the pokemon from R/S/E and older put randomly together. For example Glaceon, cute pokemon but why need it when you have Vaporeon who can do most of its moves and MORE?! Also the stories for the legendarily pokemon seem like a rip off of R/S/E story with a bit of the setting for Latios and Latias with the solution taken from Pokemon 2000. Hopefully this new gen put pokemon back on where it should be like r/s/e did after pokemon’s absent of portable gaming.

can’t wait to pick a pokemon out of three elemental types, beat eight gym leaders in slow, turn-based battles, and defeat the elite four. thank god for another pokemon game!

HA! I knew it wasn’t a Lucario evolution, it didn’t look anything like Lucario, besides, Lucario doesn’t need an evolution.

I tell you what, the pre – evolution looks like a cross between Poochyena and Vulpix. No points for originality but the evolution looks SWEET and we need more cool Dark – type Pokemon anyway.

Now that i think about it………is it just me or does the evolved form bare a striking resemblance to the Werehog from “Sonic Unleashed”?

Ah well, anyway. We’ve got the biggest RPG of all time next month in Heart Gold/Soul Silver and then, the new biggest RPG of all time when the 5th generation arrives! I cannot wait……thank god a real RPG like Pokemon is here to save us from trashy western games like Borderlands and Mass Defect 2.

Looks like a Mightyena evolution wasn’t too far off the mark. Zorua looks kind of cute…..for an evil fox.

Great article, I think you covered everything there. . . I would say freelancing is quite hard especially if you are not used to working on your own, can be quite hard to motivate yourself also. . . we all know what it is like to stare at the monitor.
