THQ, SyFy creating de Blob cartoon
February 15th, 2010 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiIt looks like THQ has some pretty ambitious plans for the de Blob. As we learned a few days ago, the company will be launching a new game in fiscal 2011. But THQ will also be working with SyFy to expand the franchise and produce a cartoon, which will be featured on television and online. THQ has said that they may be open to TV adaptations of their other intellectual properties as well.

Interesting news, although the fact it’s SyFy working with THQ doesn’t bode well, after quite a few of the channel’s adaptations of other author’s work have been… lackluster to say the least.
But hey, you can at least hope it’ll be good.
