Upset Demon’s Souls didn’t win anything, but hey, it’s won my heart.

Uncharted 2 was the big winner, huh?
It’s a damn good game.

Yea, I definitely can’t disagree with Uncharted 2 winning all of that. Anyone who’s played it knows how great it is.

hmm…well I’m sure Uncharted 2 is a great game and all….but it’s kind of a kick in the face to the developers of every other title on those lists that deserved recognition for their work too.

@ Emmerin – no, the GDC is a universal games award ceremony, not just Sony.
Perhaps you are confused as to why Uncharted 2 won practically every award? Well the answer to that is simple, every game on the Xbox 360 is so piss – poor with such last – gen graphics that Uncharted 2 couldn’t help but shine by comparison. Compared to the laggy, poor – quality, last – gen games on the 360 like Halo and Forza, Uncharted was made to look like a game developed by the gods themselves.
Don’t have a go at Sony because the 360 doesn’t have any good games. It’s not Sony who wispers in Microsoft’s ear every morning “Make all your exclusives garbage and give them PS1 graphics.”. Microsoft made that decision themselves and crap games don’t win awards.
When the Xbox 360 is capable of displaying a game in a resolution higher than 576p then maybe you Microsoft fanboys can start to dream of winning awards, until then, it’s going to be many more nights of crying into your bowls of popcorn for you.

@David Macphail
The website is NINTENDOEverything.com. I don’t think anyone here is a Microsoft fanboy.
I honestly don’t think that Scribblenauts was the best handheld game of the year but it does deserve the Innovation award.

@ Patrick – maybe so but you very rarely hear Nintendo fanboys argue when somebody talks up a PS3 game.
Nintendo Wii owners know their console isn’t powerful enough to have games that boast either the scale or the graphics of PS3 exclusives. They can accept that and so they don’t whine when games like Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2 are admired for their visual supremacy.
However 360 fanboys are the opposite, they can’t accept that their console isn’t good enough to produce games like Uncharted 2 or God Of War 3. Perhaps they are either too ignorant or too stubborn but it actually comes as a shock to them when the general consensus amongst the videogames industry is that PS3 exclusives are head and shoulders above anything the 360 has ever produced or will ever produce. So, the only outlet they have is to troll forums and try and argue with facts.
If Emmerin IS a Nintendo fanboy then he’s a rare breed. Because most Nintendo fanboys have the common sense not to expect their exclusive games to show off the quality seen in PS3 titles. Usually the only people on the Internet who complain when a PS3 exclusive is admired are the same people who are waiting on their 11th 360 to get back from the repair shop.
