Nintendo comments on retro revival rumor
September 30th, 2008 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiEarlier today, Gamekyo posted a rumor regarding an old franchise that would see rebirth on the Wii. Nintendo has commented on the speculation and the response is pretty much what most had expected – That Nintendo does not “comment on rumors and speculation” reply. Even so, this rumor along with the new DS talk, still has an open window of opportunity to be present at Nintendo’s Japanese conference (or perhaps even the North American event), though we’ll definitely have a better idea about the two come this Thursday.

I would love for this to be a new Mega Man X title, they just made Mega Man 9. A new X with all the old school flair would be awesome – none of the x5 and beyond bullshit.
