Perhaps Ono was teasing a Darkstalkers game
July 5th, 2010 Posted in General Nintendo, Posted by Valay, RumorsA few days ago, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono teased a new project on his Twitter account. Ono only stated that Super Street Fighter IV “is nothing compared to what’s coming.” While it still isn’t entirely clear which title he was referring to, there is a small sign that it could be a new Darkstalkers title.
Last Monday, Ono noted that he had a proposal to give to Keiji Inafune. He said that his presentation was a success a day later. When a fan asked if he could make a Darkstalkers/Vapre game, Ono said, “I’m left speechless yet….. Shhhh.”
There have been a number of different indications recently that Ono would love to make a new Darkstalkers title. Since there seems to be huge interest there, it seems more than possible that an announcement will be made sometime in the near future.

YES! Finally, someone else thinks the same thing!! I LOVE darkstalkers!! It’s my favorite fighting game series!! I hope it is a new darkstalkers!

I’d love to see this happen. It’s been too long since Capcom last put out a Darkstalkers game, and I mean a new Darkstalkers game, not a “Chronicles” or “Collection” kind of release. I’m getting hyped just at the thought.

Okay i like darkstalkers too but seriously at least gimme a f*ckin HD-remix of rival schools(project justice) now that game was awesome burnt-ouwt ma whole f*ckin dreamcast ahhh good ol days
