Conduit 2 delayed to Q1 2011, will support the Classic Controller
September 2nd, 2010 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiEven though Conduit 2 was on track to be released on November 2, coverage of the game has been rather light recently. Perhaps we know the reason for that now. SEGA and High Voltage Software have quietly confirmed that Conduit 2 has been pushed back to 2011. The two companies also revealed that the title will support the Classic Controller/Classic Controller Pro when it arrives in the first quarter of next year.

Sad to hear, but I was expecting it.

Ya I guess you’re right Ronin.
I was looking forward to it this year, but the other controls (maybe Gamecube too?) are definitely a plus for me. Hoping for a great game when it comes out then.

glad for Classic Controller support, hopefully they’ll use this time to put in a map editor

With some proper marketing – not that I’m gonna hold my breath with Sega, their advertising for the original wasn’t bad, but wasn’t exactly widespread, either – this could be a good thing, anyway. I’d imagine that The Conduit would have a hard time facing off against the likes of DKC, Epic Mickey, and especially GoldenEye during the holidays. And let’s not forget Call of Duty: Black Ops. Wii FPS competition for the rest of this year is rough – a little distance can do The Conduit 2 some good.
