Rumor: Publisher of The Conduit discovered

October 28th, 2008 Posted in Posted by Valay, Rumors, Wii

An official publisher announcement for The Conduit should be coming very soon. Some have guessed that Nintendo would publish the game, though the company later dismissed the speculation. A recent discovery, however, may point to the official publisher of the game. Currently, SEGA’s FTP site has a listing for The Conduit under its directory of games (with an empty folder). This isn’t a 100% guarantee that SEGA is the publisher of the game. Even so, this is a pretty good sign. There’s not much of a reason why the game would be listed there unless SEGA had some sort of connection to The Conduit. We’ll find out soon enough, but how would you guys feel about SEGA publishing the title?

If SEGA published id be glad. SEGA is actually one of the few honest 3rd party supporters of the Wii. Wii has been getting some of the better games SEGA has to offer latly (Sonic SATSR and Samba de Amigo in particular), so id happily give SEGA my $50.

@ Chris – It’s in alphabetical order, so it should be under Stormrise. I’ve updated the news post with some screenshots in case you can’t see it – It’s possible SEGA’s already modified their FTP site.

cudos to sega for realizing the enourmous impact of a game of this magnitude… nintendo should jump in right now and grab this title. they did with golden eye and this game is a possible successer to the famed goldeneye. wish you had 007 in the bank big N. its in freakin limbo thanks to you. yours truly gamer

    oh yeah and Rare sucks

I wonder why they hid the Publisher name so long..

Possibly because High Voltage knew Sega was going downhill?

They didn’t want gamers thinking it was going to Suck.
This game is gonna kick ass.

@ FD141 – I’m pretty sure High Voltage and SEGA only began talking a few months ago. HVS did not want to get involved with a publisher early on as they felt as though there could be a possibility that the publisher would disrupt/change the development of the game.

MadDogPro you are pretty ignorant saying that rare sucks… Yeah their stuff sucks nowadays, but thats because M$ bought em out… but when they were with nintendo they created the best games on N64 and brought standard gameplay to first person shooters (007, perfect dark) adventure games (conker’s BFD, and JF Gemini) as well as plaformers (banjo-kazooie and donkey kong 64) I’m guessing you didn’t have a N64.

Specialists claim that business loans help a lot of people to live their own way, because they can feel free to buy necessary goods. Furthermore, a lot of banks give auto loan for young and old people.
