Super Smash Bros. Brawl sells 500k in its opening day!

February 1st, 2008 Posted in News, Posted by Jakui, Wii

In its first day on sale in Japan, Nintendo managed to sell an incredibly impressive 500,000 copies of Super Smash Bros. Brawl which is about 80% of the stock. I have no doubt what so ever that the game will be sold out soon. Also, Brawl managed to beat the popular Devil May Cry 4, a game that was released on the same day. The details are as follows:

Wii SSBB – 500k (80% sell-thru)
Wii Family Ski – 10k

PS3 DMC4 – 140k (60% sell-thru)

XB360 DMC4 – 30k (60% sell-thru)
