Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Collection announced
May 10th, 2011 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, WiiSquare Enix will be bringing a Dragon Quest compilation to the Wii in honor of Dragon Quest’s 25th anniversary. Jump revealed the news in their latest issue (see the scan above). The first three titles in the series along with the Super Famicom remakes will be included on one disc, though it doesn’t look like there will be any enhancements. Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Collection will arrive in Japan this September.

What? DQ 1,2, and 3? That’s all? Sheesh, Square Enix! How about ALL of the DQ games for the Famicom, Super Famicom, GameBoy Color, Gameboy Advance, AND the PSX. Now THAT would be an anniversary collection!

At least 3 games is better than squishing all 9 games into 1 game disc! That’s a hard job for a company like Square-Enix!
And I’ve never played a Dragon Quest game; so I’d like a North American release sometime in the near future! If Mario’s Anniversery is just as good; then so can Dragon Quest’s!
