Rumor no more! This scan proves that Nintendo is indeed developing a right slide pad attachment for the 3DS.

    @bob

    Same, this is just hideous. What were they thinking?

    It isn’t the most visually appealing attachment I’ve ever seen, but at least it’s a second circle pad. Besides, it’ll probably be compatible with Monster Hunter, so they’ll be alright; don’t lose hope in Nintendo, guys!

    Are they serious? HAHAHAHA Oh god…that’s just…gay. So….gay. And I mean gay as in homosexual so it’s not offensive.

    I think I’ll wait for the 3DS lite.

    The peripheral is not what I expected, but I also did not expect the second Circle Pad to be in the same position as the BA/YX buttons. I thought it would be located below it similar to the layout of the GameCube controller.

    Just when I decide to stop using ‘lol’, I see this…

    lol.

    Surely that’s not an official Nintendo licensed peripheral? Third party add-ons are almost supposed to look rubbish, going by past offerings. If it IS Nintendo though, I’m full-on embarrassed.
