Capcom has some tricks up their sleeves for Wii owners in 2009
December 23rd, 2008 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii“MotoGP. Neopets Puzzle Adventure. Dead Rising Wii. Spyborgs. [They] are all coming in 2009. Beyond that, we have a few other tricks up our sleeves I can’t talk about yet.” – Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer/VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development
I wonder how many Wii titles we’ll see from Capcom in 2009. More ports might be realistic, but perhaps the company has moved on to original titles. Anyone want to take a guess?

Yup I’ll guess! Please let it be Devil Kings 3 (Sengoku Basara 3)! Man I love that game so much! I imported the Wii version last year and still killing the game as to this day! The next guess would be a new Resident Evil 2 remake! I just no it because way back when they had the Capcom 5 team thing going on the GameCube, they said if they remade all the Resident Evil games on the Cube, that Resident Evil 4 wouldn’t have came out on time for the cube! Next is Devil May Cry new or remake! Yes you heard me I said it! And then comes the blue man who never gives up snice the NES days! If you guess who that is your a true hardcore fan of Capcom games! Finally Ghost N Gouls and many Classic Capcom games from back in the NES days beening remade.

The idea of Resident Evil 5 on the Wii is laughable, even to Capcom. One of the Resi 5 developers was quoted as saying the Nintendo Wii wouldn’t even be able to handle the “Press Start” screen of Resident Evil 5.

I’d like to see a link to that reference. Never caught that anywhere at all and that’s an outlandish statement completely.

yeah, i’m not saying it would look pretty. but if they stuck a small to medium sized team on porting a majorly downgraded re5 to previous gen capacity (downsampling every texture etc) then they would sell another 1.5-2 million copies right there, and it would be MORE FUN

Yes I’m bac again to prove wiifan the fact about how if Capcom were to remake all Resident Evil games on the GameCube that Resident Evil 4 would have not came out on time. So here is the link! http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/adventure/residentevilcodeveronica/news.html?sid=2813487

Its a shame wiifan that you still need to do your home work when it comes to beening a true fan of game companies and their history plus keeping up to many things that are said in the gaming world that get lost so easly! So take this test will you? How did Gears of War become the game it is today by coping what game?

Wiifan, clearly you don’t look around the gaming industry very often. Here is the link to the reference:

The actual quote was “Title Screen” but that’s the exact same thing, so it’s not an outlandish statement, it’s a FACT (Know the difference?), though if you’d done your research, i wouldn’t have had to waste my time posting again.
