Aonuma says scrapped MotionPlus controls for Skyward Sword will be used in future Zelda games
December 14th, 2011 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Posted by Valay, WiiNintendo isn’t finished with MotionPlus controls for Zelda titles just yet. Eiji Aonuma told the Official Nintendo Magazine that there were some ideas they had that weren’t used in Skyward Sword.
These elements will appear in future Zelda games. Perhaps we’ll see some of these ideas in Zelda Wii U if Nintendo decides to use MotionPlus rather than the tablet controller (or maybe the two could be used together).
Aonuma told the magazine:
“We will want to use the Wii Motion-Plus controls that we did not use this time in future games, so we cannot tell you now. Please look forward to seeing them in the future.”
