Tecmo Koei had interest in making a Pokemon Musou game
January 18th, 2012 Posted in DS, News, Posted by ValayPokemon X Nobunaga’s Ambition wasn’t Tecmo Koei’s first crossover idea. The company was originally interested in mixing Pokemon with the Dynasty Warriors series.
Tecmo Koei approached The Pokemon Company with the idea. Although Pokemon CEO Tsunekaz Ishiharaf thought that the collaboration would be nice, the idea eventually morphed into Pokemon X Nobunaga’s Ambition.
Ishihara did comment on the actual project that’s being made today. He said that the characters don’t hold weapons even though it’s a Sengoku game, and confirmed Tecmo Koei as the studio in charge of development.
