Going to wait for the price drop this time, don’t want to get screwed over like the 3DS again.

I fear the price will be ridiculous high again.
Fingers crossed!

I expect $350. Seeing the 3DS is currently $150, it seems legit. Back in the day, Wii was 250 and DS 150. It might end up being $400, but I don’t think Nintendo will overprice something again. But if the rumours about its strength compared to the next Xbox (6 times more powerful as current gen) a higher price seems legit. And the controller is expensive too off course. And it should come with a game.

Well I hate to wait but I think its good to launch the system everywhere at the same time. That way as a company you can compare sales with each region and see how things work one place and not in another. And why wasn’t the Japanese launch mentioned?

cause nintendo doesnt think japan needs the wii u

Oh no, the Wii U will only cost $250, MAYBE $300. Nintendo learned their lesson from the 3DS launch, so I can’t imagine the Wii U costing more than the Wii did at launch.
And a global holiday season launch (a.k.a., sometime in November) is PERFECT and will give Nintendo PLENTY of time to have some really great titles for launch.
Super Mario “U”niverse, anyone? ^_^

I think we’ll get to:
September/October-JP release
November/December-US/EU/AU
Simultaneous worldwide release is hard to accomplish. Anyway, next gen is upon us.
