Sakaguchi open to The Last Story sequel, not sure if he’ll make one

February 17th, 2012 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii

Hironobu Sakaguchi likes the thought of making a sequel to The Last Story. However, he isn’t sure if he’ll follow through on the idea.

During his BAFTA presentation last night, Sakaguchi said the following when asked about a sequel:

“It’s a good idea but I don’t really know whether I will be doing it.”

I’m sure Nintendo would have to approve of a sequel before anything happens. Who knows if they’re even happy with the sales of the game thus far…

Hm. I dunno… “Ok, This is Totally the Actual Last Story” isn’t a great title.

Didn’t the game bomb, saleswise? I just hope that Nintendo hire this guy. Imagine if he helps in developing Zelda, or even Monolith Soft’s new game.
