New 3DS firmware goes live

The latest 3DS update has gone live around the world. It’s available for download in the United States, UK, and other territories.

The new firmware finally introduces folder functionality on the 3DS Home Menu. Up to sixty applications can be stored in each. Users can name their folder, and the label’s first letter will be appear on the icon.

    How do you get the folders to show up on the 3DS?! My system is already updated; & yet I’m stumped that I got nothing?! :(

    It’s okay, I figured it out! Have to tap on an empty space! And to rename folders you tap settings! How convenient! ;)
