Those are probably just place holders, but it makes me wonder if it was a hidden announcement for a new metroid and dk game. The thing that makes me seriously doubt it though is the boo icon
Social version of an App Screen. It’s a little cluttered, and if we can change that, I’d like it a lot. Seems like it would take ages scrolling if you have 50 downloaded VC games though.
It’s kind of nice looking; & I like the concept of Mii’s being around the Games being played Icons… makes me wonder those are Wii games in the screenshots, IE the DK Barrel!
Still I’m hoping for a MORE suitable and Wii CHANNEL related Wii U Menu; but is MORE CUSTOMAZABLE!!
Did everyone else miss the part where he said you’d get a more traditional menu on the screen on the controller? And look at the symbol in the bottom right corner, looks to me like it suggests you could have it a bit more organised looking. I like it. Have the menu like that that on the TV, have another menu that looks more like say the 3DS on the controller screen.

Personally, I am not digging it. I prefer straightforward interfaces. I looks like everything is scattered.

Yup, I missed that, thanks for pointing it out. They didn’t show it, did they? I wonder why.
