New Super Mario Bros. 2 players collect 100 billion coins

As of September 10, New Super Mario Bros. 2 players have collectively obtained 100 billion coins. 13,201 users have now collected one million coins.
Nintendo shared the news in a SpotPass notification. The company has been providing regular updates about the coins total through the messaging system.

That is impressive news! I currently have over 237,000 coins and it may take me a month to acculate a million coins. I just wish there is an easy way so I am waiting for the DLC to arrive that may make it faster.

Same here; I like thee NSMB2 Spot Pass updates! Make me say to myself “WOW”; there are a lot of dedicated players around the world! It may also take me forever to reach the 9 million mark; even though I’m currently over the 227,000+ coins!

Wow. I didn’t think that many people would take the coin-collecting aspect of NSMB2 that significantly. That’s some dedicated coin-grabbin’. It’s enough to drive Wario crazy. lol

That sounds LOL funny; maybe Nintendo should consider making an actual Wario Land sequel for the 3DS centered around collecting coins?! The last good Wario game was Wario Land Shake It for the Wii!
