A new overview trailer just dropped for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. As often tends to be the case, Nintendo has thus far only put out a Japanese version – an English equivalent will likely follow later.

Blade Jumper

CFK and Bit Paradigm will release Blade Jumper on Switch next month, the two sides announced today. It’s slated for a May 23, 2024 launch.

Blade Jumper, a 2D action platformer, has players using a simple jump mechanic to climb the obstacle-filled tower. More information can be found in the following overview:

Wizardry Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord remake

Digital Eclipse is bringing its Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord remake to Switch, the studio announced today. We have a confirmed release date of May 23, 2024.

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, one of the first Dungeons & Dragons-style RPGs for PC, first came out in 1981. Digital Eclipse’s rendition features modern graphics and improved party management, navigation, spellcasting, and combat.

Garry's Mod Nintendo

Nintendo is always protective of its IPs, and that stance is now impacting Garry’s Mod which is being forced to take down content for the game.

Garry’s Mod, a sandbox title, has been around for nearly two decades. It was no stranger to tons of different mods, including ones tied to Nintendo. However, the company is now issuing takedown notices that will affect creations that extend all the way back to the release in 2006.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble preview

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble has a relatively complicated road ahead of it. It is the first brand new game in the series in nearly twelve years, and trying to balance its new content on top of reconnecting the series to its roots. Nintendo Live Tokyo 2024 arrest

April 3: According to the Kyoto Shimbun, police have made an arrest followings threats tied to the cancelled Nintendo Live Tokyo 2024 event.

Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo, which would have taken place this past January, was cancelled at the start of December. The suspect made “persistent threats” against employees as well as participants ahead of the Splatoon Koshien 2023 finals. Nintendo Live Tokyo 2024 was cancelled as a precautionary measure.

Today, Ravenage Games and Alchemy Sheep announced that they’re putting NecroBouncer on Switch. The title is due out on May 24, 2024.

NecroBouncer is a roguelike dungeon crawler in which players dive into the neon-soaked underworld of a nightclub, playing as a necromancer-turned-bouncer. You can find more details in the following overview:

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble multiplayer

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is back with a new trailer and details, this time showcasing the game’s multiplayer in Battle Mode. Players will be able to participate in online rumbles with up to 16 competitors in 5 game modes. Race, Banana Hunt, Ba-Boom, Goal Rush, and Robot Smash are all available.
