River City: Ransom met its Kickstarter funding goal last month, but the campaign missed out on various console stretch goals. So what does that mean for potential Wii U and 3DS versions?

Good news: both systems are still up for consideration. Producer Daniel Crenna told Red Bull UK that the company will self-fund additional platforms for release.

Crenna said:

We are looking at options for additional funding if we think we need more fuel to ensure we meet our goals, and to self-fund additional platforms we didn’t hit in our stretch goals.

IronFall’s first trailer was originally intended to go live earlier this week, but it’s been pushed back slightly. We’re now told that the video will go live this weekend.

VD-Dev is “adding some features” it wants to show gamers. The studio has also confirmed that the video will feature real-time, direct footage from the 3DS.

Toki Tori didn’t end up making it out today as Two Tribes had originally hoped, but it is due out next week. The Wii U release is planned for November 7, according to a listing on Nintendo’s website.

At least two other digital games are launching next week as well. Crazy Chicken: Director’s Cut 3D and My Baby Pet Hotel 3D will also be available on November 7.
